On #HaysWay it's been noticeable how much concern there is for Scotland's rivers. The issues vary a bit for each river, but what links them is 'a lack of urgency' from government and Scottish Water to protect these ecosystems that so much life depends upon https://t.co/DS7WOhOAlA

#HaysWay began with a visit to @MarLodgeNTS this week. I met with the estate's head David Frew and ranger @CountrysideBen for a wander up the hill. The sound of the waders echoing up the valley during my visit is still with me 🎶 @TheScotsman
