Relieved to hear that the deadline for responses to the latest stage of the #HaywardReview has been extended. Troubled that I found out from this tweet, rather than through the channels it describes.
Communication at every stage has been poor at reaching class teachers.

Though #ChatGPT does pose a huge risk to exams and assessment.
Scotland’s current #HaywardReview into assessment *must* consider how we are going to deal with AI.
Its interim report last week didn’t.

How can anybody with an interest in #education in #scotland have any faith that the #haywardreview and #TalkScottishEducation will be anything other than a sham?
The Scottish Government have announced they are keeping both accreditation and regulation functions with the ‘new’ SQA.
This is directly in opposition to the Muir review. Another slap in the face for serious reform.

Some personal thoughts on where I think #geography should be heading post #haywardreview. Currently we have courses divided up into three units and each unit is sub-divided up into separate topics. Few outside of Geography in Scotland understand why we don’t do a unit at a time.
