سخنگوی وزارت بهداشت ایران اعلام کرد انستیتو پاستور ایران، مرکز پژوهشهای پزشکی مستقر در تهران، هدف حمله قرار گرفته و بهشدت آسیب دیده است.
حسین کرمانپور، سخنگوی وزارت بهداشت، در پیامی در شبکه اکس نوشت انستیتو پاستور ایران، که در سال ۱۲۹۸ تاسیس شده، یکی از مراکز باسابقه پژوهش پزشکی در کشور و «ستون صدساله سلامت جهانی» بوده و حمله به آن را باید «تعرضی مستقیم به امنیت بینالمللی سلامت» دانست. بر اساس این گزارش، بخشهایی از ساختمان این مرکز در پی حمله ویران شده و خسارت سنگینی به آن وارد آمده است.
او همچنین تصاویری از محل منتشر کرد که در آنها ساختمان آسیبدیده و بخشهایی از مرکز به تلی از آوار تبدیل شده است. تاکنون جزئیات مستقلی درباره میزان دقیق خسارت، تلفات احتمالی یا عامل این حمله از سوی نهادهای بینالمللی منتشر نشده است. با این حال، سازمان جهانی بهداشت پیشتر تایید کرده بود که از آغاز جنگ، چندین مرکز درمانی و بهداشتی در ایران هدف حمله قرار گرفتهاند و این حملات را مغایر با حقوق بشردوستانه بینالمللی دانسته بود.

The Noura Al-Kaabi Dialysis Center in North #Gaza is now a pile of rubble. The destruction of this health facility directly endangers the lives of patients with kidney failure.
Prior to the escalation in violence, the facility was serving 40 patients per week in North Gaza.
Last week, @WHO moved 20 of the 23 dialysis machines out of the center to keep them safe.
We once again call for a ceasefire and the urgent protection of all health facilities and personnel.
