Little update: we did Help apheresis Nr 15 on Wednesday & 5 IVIG (10 and five om 2nd time on 20 gr each).
Were 7 hours for treatment in the clinic on Wednesday and 2.5 h carrode home. No crash. Kid was doing so well that she asked mi Thursday to ask teacher for a lesson!
Oh and all that after she had a new infection that the doc said might have been COVID 3 weeks ago...

We were wondering why POTS got worse after two treatments. Then realized when we got lab that it also had washed out potassium. It helps to give electrolytes with potassium after help apheresis!!!

Day 4 of a horrendous crash after my first #helpapheresis treatment for #longcovid. I need to get home to the USA. Terrified that I am becoming severe and will be stuck here in Switzerland. I can barely manage a trip to the bathroom. I don't know how I can navigate an airport.
Day 3 of an awful crash from my first #helpapheresis treatment. So awesome to spend thousands of dollars to make myself worse. If I can manage to get on a plane back home, next up is serious antivirals. Then I'm done. 3.5 years of #longcovid and I'm giving up after that.
