Governor Wes Moore, Senate President Bill Ferguson, and House Speaker Joseline Peña-Melnyk are launching a serious challenge to Maryland’s constitution through mid-decade congressional redistricting.
Once again, our leaders are prioritizing national politics over the needs of Marylanders. Extreme gerrymandering has long been the status quo in our state.
This practice dates back to Governor Parris Glendening and intensified under Governor Martin O’Malley, who openly admitted to redrawing the 6th Congressional District to eliminate Republican representation in western Maryland.
My opponents are actively supporting the further disenfranchisement of Republican voters for their own benefit. In 2022, District 9A was deliberately manipulated to provide an unfair advantage to Delegate Natalie Ziegler, Delegate Chao Wu, and Senator Katie Fry Hester.
We must take action now. Reach out to your legislators and demand that they reject this partisan power grab. If our voices are ignored, we will gather at Lawyers Mall!
Following our victory in November, we will work to restore fair elections by establishing independent redistricting commissions, implementing open primaries, holding special elections when necessary, and requiring voter identification.
It is time to address the issues within Maryland’s electoral system.

PLEASE REMEMBER #HoCoMD, if you come upon a flooded roadway, #TurnAroundDontDrown. It takes just a mere 6" of fast-moving flood water to knock over an adult, 12" to carry away most cars & just 2' of rushing water to carry away SUVs & trucks. It is NEVER safe to drive or walk into flood waters. (2/3)

People who know me know how much I love America.
It is not just the fireworks, hot dogs, and hamburgers, although I do love my summer cookouts.
It is because this is still the land of freedom and opportunity, and it is a privilege to be part of this country.
Long live America and long live our republic.

Listen up @ColumbiaMD @ColumbiaMDTweet !!! Dems don’t care about public safety from #criminals. They support criminals more than Howard Countians! Vote accordingly. #HoCoMD @HowardCountyMD
DJS Secretary Betsy Fox Tolentino thinks probation and a GPS ankle monitor are sufficient for a criminal who raped two children.
It turns out she’s just as radical as her predecessor, Vincent Schiraldi. This is the norm under the leadership of my opponents and Gov. Moore.
In Annapolis, I am going to pass legislation to end ankle monitoring for violent and sexual offenders. They will be detained in a DJS facility and held accountable.
If youth offenders are not held accountable, they will be adult offenders who kill, rape, and murder. Please see the Emmetson Zeah case at Columbia Mall in Howard County.
Public safety is the first duty of government, and current leadership is failing to protect Marylanders.

We must unleash energy independence in Maryland! My friends on the other side of the aisle believe we should ration our energy during extreme weather conditions and peak demand. The US is a country of abundance, not scarcity. I reject the EU style of socialism that my opponents wish to bring to Maryland.
Maryland doesn’t produce enough energy. Maryland consumes 5 times the energy we need, according to the latest reports. Our entire renewable energy portfolio was only able to provide 14% of Maryland’s in-state electricity and power needs in 2025.
We are depending heavily on Calvert Cliffs nuclear power plant, which is responsible for 38% of the state’s electricity generation in 2025. The planned closures of the Brandon Shores and Wagner facilities by 2029 will create substantial challenges for residents in the 9A area.
Power plants have been shut down due to ineffective energy policies, such as the Climate Solutions Now Act of 2022, the so-called Clean Energy and Jobs Act of 2019, our involvement in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS), and frivolous lawsuits initiated by the Sierra Club.
Maryland needs to unleash energy production instead of relying on our neighbors and passing high delivery costs onto Marylanders. Weak legislation like the Utility Relief Act will not suffice. Taking $100 from me and giving me $10 back isn’t relief.
We need to create a more welcoming environment for energy investors. This will help us generate the power necessary to support industry, reduce electricity rates, and ensure we don’t have to worry about the grid failing during a heatwave.
There is a state of managed decline where we are told to accept less while paying more. That is unfair to Marylanders. We pay some of the highest taxes in the nation. We deserve quality roads, excellent schools, and a robust energy infrastructure.
It’s frustrating to wonder where our hard-earned tax dollars are going when we aren’t receiving these essential services. If elected, I will work tirelessly to reduce utility costs for every single ratepayer.
