#Hugo30: This weekend was the 30-year anniversary of Hurricane Hugo. Maxie Roberts was a photojournalist with The State when Hurricane Hugo slammed into the coast near Charleston, SC, in 1989. Here's what he recalls.

I was 7 when Hurricane Hugo came through SC in 1989. After the storm I remember hearing chainsaws for weeks, riding my scooter through seas of green leaves, eating cold spaghettio's, and catching a small grass snake that I named Snickels. #Hugo30
