The ongoing #manned #testflight around the #moon by the #crew of the #NASA #ArtemisII #mission is a very important step, not only towards a better knowledge about our closest celestial body, the moon, but also towards the grneral future of #humansinspace.
However photos and footage from the mission, showing the #farside of our moon, details of the #moonrelief, an #earthset and even a #solareclipse, when the moon was blocking out the sun. are breathtaking.

London, Ontario native, Canadian Armed Forces pilot of the CF-18, selected as a recruit into the Canadian Space Agency in 2011.
Colonel Hansen’s service to both his education and military commitments are extensive: Top Air Force Graduate from the Royal Military College of Canada in May 1999, The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012, Gold Medal of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society in 2014, amongst several other accolades.
He has participated in numerous scientific programs including the NEEMO 19 subterranean mission and worked as station capcom in 2011.
Artemis II will be his first trip to space.
In nine days, NASA's Artemis 2 mission is scheduled to launch from @NASAKennedy, sending four astronauts to the Moon for the first time since 1972. Each night, for the next four nights at 6:24 pm ET (2224 UTC), the planned T-0 on April 1, we'll introduce you to a different member of the flight crew.
