@Empoweringpts9 @CCfdnMinnesota @sonyagoins1 @Crohnoid I took it with OJ for maybe 5 years. The hardest part was fitting it into my schedule. I think it was nothing to eat for an hour before taking it or 4 hours afterward. Then she said maybe I needed 4 a day!! #IBDconvo

@Empoweringpts9 @CCfdnMinnesota @sonyagoins1 @HennepinHC Crohns is in remission and my symptoms were of IBS. Changed drug to Amitriptyline. Worked pretty well, but then had thyroid removed and that's causing problems until we get the dose right. #IBDconvo

They prescribed Questran. I took it 2 to 3 times a day. This year when I saw my GI, she asked me a battery of questions and said that my #IBDconvo-cont

@sonyagoins1 @dodeedavis @CCfdnMinnesota @HennepinHC ...the main location, not saying both. You didn’t ever have UC, just a misdiagnosis. It’s a common misconception that we all need to continue to work to clarify. If they’re unable to distinguish between the main 2 #IBD, they label as indeterminate. #myibd

@sonyagoins1 I don't think you can in modern thinking (possibly to do with genetic differences, if I remember right). CD overrules UC dx. I started as Crohn's, went to UC, then Indeterminate. Back to Crohn's after a few years. #IBDconvo
