The IDSA will have >150 scientific sessions at #IDWeek2022, but none on #Lyme. (500k annual cases, no vaccine, & a 30% treatment failure rate.) And only 3 sessions on #LongCOVID, affecting 7.5% of the US. Guess there’s no $ in it for #IDSAInfo and #PhRMA.

Millions of $$$$ spent by #NIH, outstanding data on hepatitis B. Rejected by CID #idsainfo without review for low priority. Since when are good data on #HepatitisB on USA low priority? No #curehbv in sight, millions infected. What gives?

Terribly frustrated with medical journals and #hepatitisB Our paper from #HBRN, #NIH funded natural history study of HBeAg in 2500 adults & children in N America rejected by CID #idsainfo without a review! Not high enough priority yet millions infected, no cure, risk of #HCC
