Just a quick intro of mine for In/Acc folks:
Folks - I am an AI-law professional, and my interest lies in solving legal and policy problems around incorporating and standardising AI solutions.
I am not a coder and not a data scientist. But what I do believe in is that I understand why AI is good for the growth of Indian civilisation. I do not look at AI as a doomer in a legal sense.
I call out the hype (for example, shortseller types selling CMS in the name of AI) but usually my effort @IndianSocietyAI (a community like In/Acc since 2019, but an independent think tank) has been to bring along legal, policy and tech people together on AI regulation and ethics.
Trust me - ISAIL and I do not propose the Delhi lobby approach to go with heavy regulation in the name of big tech lobbying. Our focus is MSMEs and start-ups (even research labs).
If one really wants to make AI regulation successful, they have to start with standardisation for both public and private sector.
It will work even for mfg sector where AI can be induced.
This is my long intro. My name is Abhivardhan. I hope I might be of some use. I can't build hardware or code for you - you do it - you are better than me. But on legal innovation, you can get back to me. A proper civilisation also needs to revise its legal practices for more innovation. 🙏
