@DylanJCraven @Hao_and_Y @ShanKothari No, it is not only preserving local distances. This would be #NMDS, #tSNE or so, #Isomap is built on e.g. a k-NN neighbourhood graph and computes the geodesic distances on this graph. In the projection, these distances should all be preserved using #CMDS

A friend suggested to make secondary entrances in the wilderness for each cave complex, so I made a little openning in the lake room (8) of the kobold lair and I'll only know where it leads after making the whole hexcrawl map. #dnd #ttrpg #isomap #dndmap #dndart

Update: The Kobold lair. I've switched some rooms and added 6 new ones. The storage room was replaced with an arsenal; The Chief has direct access and view to the common chamber, and now they breed giant rats and uses their milk to make cheese! #dnd #osr #isomap #rpgart
