@khmarbaise @BrianGoetz @brunoborges @simas_ch @springboot @springframework @OpenJDK @stuartmarks Serializing database queries/inserts/updates to and from records with #JDBI works great. But the service should just use the records a carrier: Fetch them from database and deliver them.

@GawedaTomasz @lukaseder @java #JDBI works with Java 8, but requires patching of dependencies. By default you need Java 11 because @benmanes #Caffeine as dependency, which is another example.

@yazicivo We use JSONB for hierarchical data in #postgresql and write data classes that match with those JSONB columns via #kotlin & #jdbi. @FlywayDb comes to the rescue when we migrate the schema. (c/p the old data class into the java migration that converts old schema into the new one)

Without a common interface, we won't get the same availability of database libraries like we have for JDBC. Just think about your favorite tool: @JavaOOQ, #MyBatis, #JPA, #JDBI, #Spring, #EBeanORM, @Speedment, and many others
