CREAW, through the #JasiriProgram, facilitated a Male Engagement Dialogue aimed at addressing harmful social norms, #GenderBasedViolence, and the critical role of men in promoting gender equality.
The session brought together men from Mathare community, local leaders, and gender champions who engaged in open discussions, challenged stereotypes, and explored ways to become active allies in ending violence against women and girls and discrimination.
We recently visited Baringo National Polytechnic, where 20 participants from Jasiri program Cohort 2 will begin their induction and skills training. During the induction, they’ll explore various career paths, empowering them to make informed decisions.

As we step into the new year, CREAW held an internal planning session to map out workplans for the #JasiriProgram in 2025.
The Jasiri Program is a transformative initiative empowering young women aged 18–35 with access to dignified employment opportunities, concessional funds, and business grants. Participants receive training in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, business development, and skills-building, along with connections to broader economic opportunities.
