🎤🔥 #JournalistCookOffZW is happening this June and @TeamFuloZim #TeamFulo is calling all journos across the board to step up to the plate ,literally.
This is your moment to drop the headlines, pick up the wooden spoon, huyai timbotamba, come vibe with foodies, farmers, vendors, and the real newsmakers on the ground.
It’s about unwinding, detoxing, connecting ,and having some damn fun in the process.
The challenge is to brew a derrrty zvinyenze and peanut butter rice or dassa. Ehe! Goat tripe tied with goat intestines and that village fire dish we all act like we didn’t grow up loving.😂😂😂🤣
Truth is... this task was meant for the ambassadors in the last #AmbassadorsCookOffZW ,but we had to pull it back after they looked at the zvinyenze and tapped out HARD. 😂😂😂

Special thanks as well for the warm welcome during my recent visit to Zimbabwe ,it was a joy meeting so many of you and witnessing the energy at our recent #CookOffZWs, especially the sensational #AmbassadorsCookOffZW.
During my stay, many of you shared ideas on what's next for #CookOffZW. A top suggestion was #JournalistCookOffZW! Some also lobbied for a #KombiVTruckersCookZW ,we say, why not do both?
But first up: #JournalistCookOffZW ,where our nation's storytellers will trade pens for pots, and headline deadlines for stovetop showdowns!
The challenge we are procrastinating ; Cooking a Zimbabwean village classic: goat tripe expertly tied with goat intestines, served with sadza ,a dish we had originally proposed for the ambassadors but had to shelve (they found it a tad intimidating!).😂😂
We are now calling for headline sponsors and co-sponsors to support this spicy challenge. Prizes will go to the top four finishers - in cash, vouchers, or foodie hampers.
