The Rwanda Climate Change and Development Network @RccdnRwanda in partnership with @MoveTheWorldAF and @Afsafrica are hosting a Stakeholder Workshop on Agroecology and Animal Protection in Rwanda’s Climate Adaptation Strategy.
The workshop is held under the theme:
“Integrating Agroecology and Animal Protection into Rwanda’s NDC 3.0: Stakeholder Consultation.”
This important workshop brings together a wide range of stakeholders including policymakers, researchers, farmers, civil society organizations, and development partners to engage in dialogue and collaboration.
The goal is to co-develop practical and inclusive strategies for integrating agroecological practices and animal welfare into the upcoming revision of Rwanda’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC 3.0) under the Paris Agreement.
Through this consultation, RCCDN aims to ensure that Rwanda’s climate commitments reflect sustainable agricultural practices and promote both environmental and animal well-being.
