@bendmorris Hi, I just found Kit. I'm liking so far. To test it I created a repo with Kit and Raylib. The only problem was that I had to rewrite some raylib constants, for the code to be exactly like the original. https://t.co/WtwTE2WlVo #kitlang #raylib

Up until now when I said #kitlang could run in the browser via Emscripten, I was speaking hypothetically...now it's actually, officially supported:

Just added cross-compile and custom toolchain support to #kitlang, making it easier to use for embedded platforms. Tested with arduino and a GameCube homebrew toolchain. Working on a writeup for the blog.

Implemented a Spine renderer for #kitlang/Krit using the spine-c runtime, went from nothing to rendering animations in about an hour. @EsotericSoft's Spine is one of my favorite gamedev tools, and the runtime has such a well designed API.

#kitlang now supports procedural macros! Write code from your macro to stdout, and it'll be parsed and compiled as part of the parent program. Macros can execute arbitrary code to generate or extend type/trait definitions, "derive" traits automatically, etc.
