A textbook upper-level pattern for prolonged big Santa Ana Wind event in Southern California is expected to continue through Wednesday! Note how the winds back to northeasterly behind every trough, like a spoke on a wheel. Dry, descending northeasterlies funneling through gaps in the mountains ranges of Southern California fan the flames of existing fires and new ones that pop up. We are expecting multiple critical fire danger days through midweek across the fire ravaged areas of Southern California @Unitedcajunnavy
