Remember I was the person back in January β24 in Hyannisβ Against the Wind forum, that talked about leading edge erosion from rain, bugs, birds, etc requiring the reglassing blades (slang for patching) within one to two years, or delamination can begin and they will have to replace the blades within five years.
I cited several studies and then cited the Siemens Gamesa case in 2018 of having to replace the blades in two Orsted wind farms in Europe #Anholt and #LondonArray for the same reason, leading edge erosion causing blade delamination. https://t.co/3mTmXWXHrm
I was then accused in the @NewBedfordLight of presenting mis-information re re-glassing/patching the blades, and they cited a @Siemens_Energy employee via email to say that wasnβt true, π and that I never cited any cases of same year erosion occurring, which was false.
I specifically sent the reporter prior to the story a video clip from someone repairing a #BIWF blade I also provided the reporter with the Siemens blade replacement stories in 2018 β¦https://t.co/g8FkbmoRy3
And yet in the article they chose to believe an email from Siemens versus the facts.
