This is the second article in two days to mention inhumane treatment in early labour. Yesterday's featured a woman being left in a windowless side room without pain relief. Here we have a woman feeling like she's going to die. I can attest to the cruelty of the '4cms rule'! 1/6

@gavreilly @VirginMediaNews WHAT ABOUT LIFTING MATERNITY RESTRICTIONS ON PARTNERS?!?! IT'S REDICULOUS THAT WOMEN HAVE TO GO THROUGH SCANS AND LABOUR ALONG UNTIL THEY REACH 3CM - LIKE LABOUR STARTS WHEN CONTRACTIONS START FFS #BETTERMATERNITYCARE #LABOURISLABOUR

@gavreilly @VirginMediaNews What about letting partner's or husbands in for full birth and visiting hours. Also all pre and post natal appointments?? I cant believe no one is answering these questions in the dail 🙄#bettermaternitycare #LABOURISLABOUR

Walking the empty corridors ALONE SCARED AND IN PAIN! Another scare with our pregnancy & my bf refused entry into ward by a nurse and turned back. All these empty promises and reports are so cruel. When is it enough @DonnellyStephen @MichealMartinTD @AIMSIreland @lindabtweeting
