What a fun party for #LegoUnity! We shared favorite holiday movie gifs & played Don’t Melt the Snowman & a student’s Holiday Kahoot. We also had an Ugly Sweater/holiday festive contest. At the end, all students shared what they are looking forward to during break.
As #LegoUnity discussed our class motto & mission statement, an idea for a class shield came up. The ss didn't like the traditional shield, so a s created this new & amazing template for #LegoUnity shortly after our meeting!

Reflecting about the upcoming school year, my #OneWord is grace, which has been continually evident & is important for everyone in this new learning adventure. This school year will be unique & provide many new opportunities. I’m excited for new adventures in #LegoUnity!
Closing out the school year was different, but each student in #LegoUnity received a year end gift: a Lego Man drawing personalized with Gateway colors as well as each member of the class listed and a “yearbook” note. We are #StrongerTogether. #GoGrizzliesNKC

Today we watched the promotion video online & shared some of the year’s highlights. One s sent us off with a Nerf gun salute.
This was a good reminder that specific feedback is important for each student. After providing feedback, the student voluntarily resubmitted the work based on the feedback. She also included this sweet note. Oh, I miss my students in #LegoUnity.

Tale of 2 soccer games: The first one was warm and sunny; I might even end up with a slight sunburn. The second one was chilly and not as sunny. However, an afternoon of soccer was enjoyed as I hung out with friends and then later cheered on one of my students in #LegoUnity.
