The latest email dump from the Fauci files gives me a slightly different impression of the man. We are really dealing here with a psychotic person driven to absolute madness. He has one idea: stop Covid. He could not do it. Nothing worked. Not even his magic shots, which he kept injecting over and over even after admitting that they did not work. But he could not let go of his single-minded obsession of stopping the thing he created.
His only really therapy was his fame, the love shown by his partisan fans. He demonized anyone who doubted his good intentions. Society became his playpen, a big blob of people whose whose only job was to do what he said. He must have acquired this habit from his role as a kind of mob boss in medical research plus being tapped by the deep state for fancy experiments in infectious disease.
Here you really gain a picture of a man driven to madness by power and one single-minded obsession of stopping the march of the microbial kingdom. He is Dr. Frankenstein in so many ways and Covid was his monster. He created it but could not control it and that reality drove him to absolute insanity.

I have been waiting patiently
I came out against #lockdowns & #mandates in March 2020 - before Canada & the USA even had 1,000 COVID cases.
That was based on #COVID19 death stats from Italy (fig):
▪️60 yrs & older, 96% of deaths
▪️70 & above, 86%.
Figured that we needed to focus on those most at risk: the elderly.
Realized Covid was just a harsh flu & a political scam when we foolishly got non-science, one-size-fits-all mandates.
Of course, Twitter "suspended" (permanently removed) my old account @OtagoGrad.
And @elonmusk & @x refuse to reverse it, even though the research that Twitter then called "misinformation" is now considered scientifically valid.
