The culture of fanservice is a two way street. Ppl put so much weight on the fan to control their emotions or expectations but that’s an impossible thing to ask of fans of varying levels of maturity and age and emotional understanding to do when the very construct of their entertainment system perpetuates and monetizes the environment for vague innuendo and suggestive actions. It’s like someone dangling your greatest interest or desire in your face and then telling you, don’t feel anything, don’t pay attention to it. It’s a recipe for failure time and time again.
If it should be simple for fans to control their own feelings then it should be just as simple for the system and the individuals who choose to enter it to be clear as well.
However, this issue isn’t really a justification for digging into ppl’s privacy and is often a consequence of ppl being disrespectfully intrusive. It also reveals the shallow and superficial interests of these individuals who don’t really care or respect the artist as an actor/actress. Overall, it’s just a messy cycle of cause and effect, action and consequences…
Like we’re all just trying to watch our faves in peace. Their private lives are their own but their actions with the GL space should be honest and the fans should be respectful of the truth. Someone’s past relationships shouldn’t be a gauge for if they can play a queer character or be a tool to raise assumptions on things you have no context or knowledge about.

I am studying rise of AI over past few months including reading interviews of top AI boses of Anthropic, Google etc. Here is what I think
1) Traditional IT will loose shine ( already happening). Pune IT will continue to grow but at slower pace that too more on IT related to Manufacturing, Logistics etc.
2) New AI centric IT jobs will flourish. Maharashtra should set up massive AI Training Centres.
3) Even smallest of businesses (like street vendors) will start using Software apps built by AI which are specific to their business
4) Manufacturing will be affected but to lesser extent by AI. Gigantic Manufacturing hubs like Pune and Chennai will flourish like never before through Manufacturing. MH govt should try to bring any and all Manufacturing to the state on war footing
5) Financial sector will see different business models and Products like Insurance against AI failure, AI as co patent owners, Gurantees issued by AI, Banks offering AI customised loan and deposit products for each individuals etc. Mumbai should be ready for this
6) Large IT Products Platforms Like Core Banking Systems, ERPs, CRMs etc will loose shine. Newer custom built products with AI will be order of the day. In that sense smaller software product companies will shine
7) Instead of large LLMs the smaller purpose built LLMs ( call them Small Language Model SLM)will be order of the day. Large Organisations will own SLMs trained on their domain/vertical, their customer behaviour and their products and that will be their secret sauce of success and IP
8) Data Centres will pop up in every city. On government level big support will required to support these
9) IT companies should focus on creating vertical solutions - Coding, IT infra, Hosting etc will be taken over by AI
10) Last but not least young generation should NOT focus on learning coding, instead look for skills which are related to Manufacturing, Logistics, Healthcare, Infra, new age Finance etc or even Farming related- inshort all the original core sectors. The 30-40 years of IT and Software golden period is transforming into golden period AI centric jobs with skills in one or more core sectors

#LongPost On Situation of Small Scale #Entreprenuer in #India
Vietnam’s vacation season started, and an old friend happened to be visiting Pune, so we caught up over coffee today.
We hadn’t met since 2018, when he helped design my office interiors. Conversation picked up right where it left off. He’s still in the furniture business but now sells across the US, Australia, and Dubai.
Here’s the twist.
He no longer operates from India. He moved his base to Vietnam.
Not because he wanted to leave but because doing business there became easier than doing it here. He spoke about compliance layers, customs friction, and operational delays he faced earlier. In Vietnam, he says systems are predictable, infrastructure works, trade processes are smoother, and he can focus on building the business instead of navigating bureaucracy. The best part is, they have better skilled labour than us since govt invest in your skill enhancement.
Clean roads, better logistics, functioning support systems, these were not luxuries, but enablers.
And this is furniture, a sector where India should naturally excel.
If this is the experience of one small entrepreneur, imagine how many similar stories exist. When businesses quietly relocate, we don’t just lose factories, we lose opportunity, jobs, and momentum.
Not a rant; just a reflection after a long coffee conversation.

Seriously, thanks for being patient while I took a minute. I'm still me, but I'm definitely in my finding myself era! In the time I was away, I had a major moment of clarity and came to four super important conclusions:
She/Her is the Vibe: I live for hearing she/her pronouns and want to use them! They just feel correct.
Aesthetic Check: My style is screaming! I am absolutely loving super feminine, girly-girl looks but always mixed with a fierce punk rock flair. Think tutus and Docs. I'm obsessed.
Still Figuring it Out (And that’s FINE!): I'm still unsure if I truly identify as a woman, non-binary, or something else entirely. That's the discovery part that's slowing down the therapy process, but we are working on it!
Not Just the Internet: These feelings stuck around even when I logged off, so I know this is 100% real and not just internet-influenced! 💯
My conversations with my wife have been happening, and while they've been difficult at times (IYKYK), they have been so productive! And therapy has been going great—I've learned a ton about myself, but there's still a whole lot left on the syllabus!

Proč? No jen se na něj podívejte. Oproti konvenčním typům Avanti vyniká nejen uspořádáním nosných ploch, ale také tlačnými motory #longpost
P.180 má nejen křídlo a svislé ocasní plochy, ale také malé kachní plošky na přídi. Ty mají své vlastní vztlakové klapky, které se automaticky vysouvají s klapkami na hlavním křídle. Kachní plošky jsou rovněž mírně zkosené, díky čemuž přechází do pádu dříve než hlavní křídlo, a mají 5° anhedrálu (aby jím vytvářené turbulence nenarušovaly proudění vzduchu do motorů).
O pohon se starají dva turbovrtulové motory s výkonem 630 kW každý, s nimiž Avanti dosahuje max. rychlosti 740 km/h při max. doletu 2830 km. Přetlakovaná kabina pojme 7-9 pasažérů a díky umístění motorů je v ní nízký hluk (výrobce udává max. 68 decibelů).
Do současnosti se vyrobilo cca 250 kusů. Většinu vlastní soukromí majitelé, v některých zemích ale létají i ve státních službách. Jde především o Itálii, kde Avanti kromě italského letectva používají například i karabiniéři, námořnictvo či státní policie. 2 kusy provozuje i polská Letecká zdravotnická služba, v minulosti P.180 létaly i v řadách Kanadské jízdní policie a bulharských vzdušných sil.
A pokud jste minulý víkend byli na Dnech NATO, mohli jste Avanti vidět naživo coby součást italské účasti.

Toto je Jaguar - čínsko-americký MBT a jeden z plodů nečekaného zlepšení vztahů mezi Čínou a USA v letech 1979-1989, kdy se Čína stala největším technologickým a vědeckým partnerem USA. #longpost
Jaguar vznikl jako hloubkový modernizační balíček pro tanky Typ 59, neboli čínskou kopii sovětského T-54. Továrna Cadillac Gage (dnes Textron) následně ve spolupráci s čínskými techniky konstrukci od základu přepracovala. Ve výsledku tak z původního Typu 59 zůstala víceméně jen základní konstrukce - zbytek byl americké provenience.
Konkrétně tank obdržel dodatečné kompozitní plátování trupu i věže, 105mm kanón M68 (stejný jako na tancích M60 či raných verzích Abramsu), americký motor s automatickou převodovkou, hydropneumatické odpružení a plně digitální systém řízení palby s noktovizí a laserovým dálkoměrem. Změnilo se i umístění členů posádky, jejichž ochranu zvyšoval i automatický hasicí systém a spall-liner (tj. kevlarová vrstva na vnitřní straně pancíře pro záchyt střepin).
První prototyp vznikl na podzim 1988, a sériová výroba se plánovala někdy mezi roky 1990-1991. Po masakru na náměstí Nebeského klidu se však vztahy USA a Číny ocitly na bodu mrazu, a projekt byl zrušen.
Továrna Cadillac Gage se pokusila balíček dokončit na vlastní pěst s úmyslem nabízet jej v zahraničí pro všechny tanky na bázi řady T-54/T-55. Tyto plány překazil rozpad SSSR, kdy byl trh zaplaven sovětskou obrněnou technikou často prodávanou hluboko pod cenou. Jaguar měl oproti tomu cenovku 2,4 milionu USD za kus, a sovětskému "výprodeji" tak nemohl konkurovat.
Zůstalo tak u jediného prototypu, který dodnes pomalu rezne v areálu továrny Textron.
🇨🇿Dnes má své 31. #vzletiny jedno velmi známé #divnoletadlo: létající velryba Airbus A300-600ST Beluga aneb odpověď na otázku "Jak by vypadalo letadlo postižené hydrocefalem?"
I přes svůj nezvyklý vzhled ale jde o spolehlivého tahouna, tak proč mu nevěnovat sobotní #longpost?
Beluga (původním jménem Super Transporter) navazuje na úspěšné letouny Aero Spacelines Super Guppy, neboli upravené pístové Boeingy 377 přestavěné na turbovrtulový pohon. Továrna Airbus je používala pro přepravu nadměrných komponent (křídla, sekce trupu apod.) do jednoho ze svých závodů k finální kompletaci. Super Guppy sloužily od roku 1972, jejich stárnutí ale přimělo Airbus k hledání náhrady.
Tou se stal právě A300-600ST vyvinutý společností SATIC, neboli joint venture firem Aérospatiale a DASA. Jak název napovídá, základem se stal dopravní Airbus A300. Křídla, motory, podvozek a spodní část trupu zůstaly víceméně nezměněny. Největší novinkou samozřejmě byla mohutná "nafouklá" nástavba ve tvaru podkovy, která má odklopnou příď pro snadnou nakládku a vykládku. To si vyžádalo i přesun kokpitu pod úroveň nákladového prostoru. Pro směrovou stabilitu pak stroj dostal směrovku z Airbusu A340 a zvětšené výškovky se stabilizačními ploškami.
Výsledkem je stroj schopný přepravovat břemena do hmotnosti až 47 tun a rozměrech max. 37,7×7,4 m. To Beluze umožňuje v celku přepravovat křídla, směrovky, sekce trupů a jiné komponenty letadel do Toulouse, Sevilly nebo Hamburku. Na řadě letišť kvůli tomu vznikly specializované nákladové rampy. V Toulouse pak vznikl speciální hangár, do kterého Beluga najede přídí, a s nímž se povedlo zkrátit dobu potřebnou k odbavení nákladu na 80 minut.
Beluga ale nevozí jen části letadel. V minulosti už přepravovala umělecká díla, vesmírné moduly, humanitární pomoc (např. po tsunami v roce 2004) nebo dokonce i celé helikoptéry. S nákladem 40 tun může Beluga uletět vzdálenost až 2779 km. V roce 2010 stroj poprvé zavítal i do Prahy, kam dopravoval náhradní díly pro poškozený stroj Lufthansy. Od roku 2022 jsou pak Belugy nabízeny i komerčním zákazníkům; zde stroj zaznamenal zvýšenou poptávku poté, co byl při ruské invazi na Ukrajinu zničen slavný Antonov An-225 Mrija.
Celkem se vyrobilo 5 kusů Belugy (F-GSTB, F-GSTC, F-GSTD a F-GSTF). Airbus je původně plánoval vyřadit během roku 2025 ve prospěch modernějšího nástupce A330-743L Beluga XL, původní Belugy ale slouží i v současnosti.
Dnes je to 82 let od chvíle, kdy válka vstoupila do nové éry. 9. září 1943 se totiž italská bitevní loď Roma stala vůbec první velkou válečnou lodí, kterou poslaly ke dnu naváděné zbraně - konkrétně německé klouzavé pumy Fritz-X shozené bombardéry Dornier Do 217. #longpost
Roma byla třetím plavidlem třídy Littorio a vlajkovou lodí celé italské flotily. 8. září 1943, jen pár dní po uzavření příměří se Spojenci, pak loď společně se sesterskými plavidly Vittorio Veneto a Italia (přejmenovaná Littorio) a eskortou torpédoborců zamířila z La Spezie do Tuniska.
Němci ovšem nemohli dopustit, aby moderní bitevní lodě padly do rukou Spojencům. 9. září 1943 proto z letiště Istres v jižní Francii vzlétla formace 6 bombardérů Dornier Do 217 K-2 ze stavu III/KG 100. Každý stroj nesl pod křídlem jednu rádiem naváděnou klouzavou pumu Fritz-X.
Fritz-X nesl protilodní průraznou hlavici o hmotnosti 230 kg. Její aerodynamický tvar a ovládací plochy ji umožňovaly k cíli plynule klouzat. O navádění na cíl se staral bombometčík, který bombu řídil rádiem pomocí malého joysticku. Bomba měla na zádi jasně viditelnou světlici, podle které bombometčík zbraň sledoval. Jelikož ale bylo navádění plně manuální, musela se zbraň navádět po celou dobu letu a vypouštějící stroj tak musel až do dopadu držet stejný kurs.
Německé letouny flotilu nějakou dobu sledovaly a ve 13:57 zahájily útok. Roma a Italia se bránily hustou PL palbou, obě však utržily přímé zásahy. Na Romě bomba zasáhla na levoboku, probila palubu, proletěla celým trupem a vybuchla až pod kýlem. Exploze loď vážně poškodila; voda zaplavila dvě kotelny a zadní strojovnu, kvůli čemuž Roma přišla o velkou část výkonu a ztratila rychlost.
O zhruba 2 hodiny později dorazila druhá vlna německých bombardérů. I tentokrát Roma inkasovala jeden zásah Fritzem-X, který probil levou část paluby, vybuchl v přední strojovně a odpálil sklad munice pro dělovou věž B. Následovala katastrofická exploze, při níž byla celá věž odhozena stranou. Zmrzačená a hořící Roma se krátce poté převrátila a potopila. Z 2021 mužů na palubě se zachránilo 596. Mezi mrtvými byli i admirál Carlo Bergamini a kontradmirál Stanislao Caraciotti.
Recept na Fritz-X nakonec našli Britové, kteří od roku 1944 instalovali na své lodě rušičky naváděcího signálu. Fritz-X se tak již do konce války až na výjimky neprosadil, a samotná KG 100 později přezbrojila na řízené střely Hs 293.
Abrams, Sherman, Patton, Pershing... to jsou nejen američtí generálové, ale také jména nejslavnějších tanků US Army.
Všem jim však vydláždil cestu Holt Gas-Electric Tank z roku 1917 - první v USA navržené pásové vozidlo a jedno z prvních vůbec s hybridním pohonem #longpost ⬇️
Američané se poprvé s tanky setkali po vstupu do Velké války; v té době již obrněnou technikou disponovaly obě strany bojů na západní frontě. Koncept tanku vzbudil v USA velký zájem - o to více, že americká průmyslová základna měla pro vývoj obrněné techniky velký potenciál.
V roce 1917 proto americké firmy začaly pracovat na prvních návrzích. Mezi nimi byla i firma Holt Manufacturing Company (předchůdce dnešního Caterpillaru), která vyráběla pásové zemědělské traktory. Právě její výrobky paradoxně posloužily jako inspirace pro evropské tanky, neboť traktory Holt se za války používaly jako dělostřelecké tahače.
Jako základ posloužilo upravený podvozek z traktoru Holt Model 75. Na něj inženýři umístili pancéřovanou nástavbu s prostorem pro 6-7 mužů. Hlavní výzbroj tvořil 75mm horský kanón Vickers QF 2.95-inch v přídi, který doplňovaly dva kulomety Browning po stranách nástavby. Pancíř měl tloušťku 6-15 mm po celém obvodu nástavby.
Nejvíce inovativní však byl systém pohonu umístěný na zádi. Stroj měl jeden benzinový čtyřválec o výkonu 67 kW, který poháněl elektrický generátor. Ten následně napájel dva elektromotory, jeden na pro každý pás. Pohonná soustava měla samostatný vodní chladící okruh, pro účinnější chlazení mohla posádka na zádi otevřít malá dvířka.
První prototyp byl dokončen v roce 1918, v testech ale Holt Gas-Electric Tank propadl. Při hmotnosti 25 tun byl tank silně podmotorovaný, jeho max. rychlost činila sotva 10 km/h a nedokázal překonat ani ty nejmenší terénní překážky. Hybridní pohon samotný až příliš předběhl dobu, neustále se přehříval a trpěl vysokou poruchovostí.
Celý program byl proto zrušen a zůstalo jen u prototypu. Nic to však nemění na tom, že Holt Gas-Electric Tank poskytl americkým konstruktérům první zkušenosti s návrhem a stavbou tanků.

Stejně jako F-22, tak i YF-23 vzešel z tendru Advanced Tactical Fighter (ATF), který měl americkému letectvu poskytnout pokročilý letoun pro vybojování vzdušné nadvlády. Tendru se účastnily dva podniky - Lockheed s návrhem YF-22, a Northrop s designem YF-23.
Výsledkem práce Northropu byl velmi neortodoxní design s kosočtvercovými křídly, široce roztaženými plovoucími ocasními plochami fungujícími jako směrovky i výškovky zároveň (tzv. "ruddervator"). Nezvyklý tvar byl optimalizován nejen pro co nejlepší vlastnosti ve všech rychlostech, ale také pro snížení radarové signatury.
Neméně charakteristické bylo i řešení motorů. Dvojice dvouproudových agregátů měla sání ve tvaru S pro radarové odstínění lopatek kompresorů. Místo klasických trysek měl stroj speciálně navržené "žlaby" vyložené porézním materiálem pohlcujícím teplo, které měly snížit IR signaturu letounu.
Moderní fly-by-wire ovládání a úmyslně snížená stabilita dávaly YF-23 vynikající obratnost a ovladatelnost v nízkých rychlostech. Výkonné motory a promyšlený aerodynamický profil pak stroji umožňovaly dosahovat cestovní rychlosti Mach 1,5 i bez přídavného spalování. Výzbroj měl tvořit 20mm rotační kanón M61 na levé straně trupu, a interně nesené střely vzduch-vzduch Sidewinder a AMRAAM.
Srovnávací testy ukázaly, že YF-23 (přezdívaný "Black Widow II") je oproti YF-22 nejen rychlejší, ale také je hůře viditelný pro radary. Konkurenční design měl výhodu v obratnosti, zejména díky vektorovatelným tryskám. Ačkoliv pak oba designy překonaly veškerá výkonnostní kritéria, vítězem byl nakonec určen YF-22.
Důvodů bylo několik. Konstrukce YF-23 byla viděna jako příliš radikální, více riziková a méně flexibilní než YF-22. Vadila také vysoká cena zmíněného obložení trysek, k čemuž se přidaly obavy z přehřívání zádě konstrukce. Špičky USAF v dané době stále ještě kladly důraz na manévrové souboje, kde měl výhodu YF-22 díky vyšší obratnosti. V neposlední řadě pak YF-22 nalétal více testovacích hodin a budil tak větší důvěru.
Zbytek je historie - zatímco YF-22 se po dalších úpravách dočkal sériové výroby pod označením F-22 Raptor, YF-23 vznikl jen ve 2 kusech. Oba se dochovaly - jeden je k vidění v Národním muzeu USAF v Daytonu (stát Ohio), druhý stojí ve Western Museum of Flight v Torrence (stát Kalifornie).
