Before I begin discussing the #Indian and #international #politics and #policies that occurred on #May2, I would like to state that all of the journalists who went to West Bengal to cover the #2026WestBengalAssemblyElections are claiming that the #MamataBanerjee-led #TMC is winning. I heard them when they were speaking, but I chose not to join in when a group of journalists were discussing the subject.
Additionally, I concurred with the group of journalists who attended the West Bengal elections and reported that the #BJP is winning in #Assam at the same time. Regarding other states, I believe everyone is aware of Kerala's election results, but #TamilNadu and #Puducherry will have unexpected results.
However, since the results will be revealed on May 4, by 12:30 pm tomorrow, we will have a clear picture of which party or alliance will win in Assam, #Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and West Bengal.
Let's get right to the point. I have said this before, and I will say it again: even though I am having trouble paying my room rent and meeting my daily and #NationalPoliticalMirror ( the #world's #weekly #political magazine and #India's sole #independent media house ) needs, I have never spread or written any false information in order to earn or get money from anyone.
Additionally, I would also promise never to write or spread any misleading information in order to make money.
As I discovered on May 2 again, many big corporate media houses have spread false narratives with diplomatic headlines such as 'Supreme Court dismissed Trinamool Congress', whose party has challenged the ECI's appointment of central government and central PSU employees in the West Bengal election-counting process.
However, the #SupremeCourt used the word "dismissed" but also stated that "No further orders are necessary in this case; expect to record the statement of Mr Naidy that the Election Commission will implement the circular dated April 13, 2026, in true letter and spirit."
"With these clarifications, the special leave petition stands dismissed," the Supreme Court stated.
The Supreme Court order came after former law minister and Independent Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal, who appeared on behalf of the TMC before a Supreme Court bench of Justice PS Narasimha and Justice Joymalya Bagchi on May 2.
Addressing a select group of media persons following the Supreme Court ruling, senior Supreme Court lawyer #KapilSibal stated that he argued in the Supreme Court that the Election Commission’s circular on the deployment of staff for vote counting in West Bengal must be implemented in letter and spirit, as it states that a state government employee shall also be appointed at each table.
Justice PS Narasimha and Justice Joymalya Bagchi heard submissions from Senior Advocate Kapil Sibal for TMC and Senior Advocate DS Naidu, appearing for Election Commission of India (ECI).

According to Tasnim News Agency, a semi-official news agency affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Iran has submitted a response to a USA plan to end the two countries' war. The 14-point proposal includes guarantees of non-aggression, the withdrawal of USA military forces from areas surrounding Iran, and the lifting of the naval blockade of Iran's ports.
Iran is also seeking the release of frozen assets, compensation, the lifting of sanctions, the end of the war on all fronts, including #Lebanon, and a new mechanism for management of the Strait of Hormuz, according to Tasnim.
Iran stressed that the issues must be resolved within 30 days and that the focus should shift from extending the ceasefire to "ending the war."In the meantime, #oil prices have risen since the United States of America (USA) and #Israel attacked Iran on February 28. A two-week ceasefire, which began on April 8, has been extended indefinitely, but it has done little to lower oil prices. The #StraitofHormuz, a narrow waterway through which 20% of the world's oil flows, is still tightly controlled by Iran.
However, Iran is waiting for an official USA response to the proposals.
I would like to conclude by reiterating that big corporate media houses led by #Ambani, #Adani, #Jain, #Birla, #Agarwal, #Goenka, and #Rao have already lost the respect and trust of India's respected citizens due to their journalism style.

The Global Positioning System, or GPS, was originally a top-secret military project. When the US government finally let the public use it, they included a feature called "Selective Availability." This intentionally degraded the satellite signal, meaning your civilian GPS was always off by up to 100 meters! They did this so enemy nations couldn't use American satellites to guide missiles.
