I can't express how much strength and courage each and every one of those applause gave to the children and to us. I will never forget the moments we exchanged greetings in the audience after the performance. An audience member from San Francisco, USA, tearfully embraced me and said, "It was an amazing performance," along with other words of encouragement and emotion. There were also a doctor and his wife from Thailand, and many others from Japan and other countries who traveled a long way to see this performance. It was a moment that truly made me realize how the children's music and hearts transcend national boundaries. I truly wanted to personally greet each and every one of you. I also wanted to convey how much encouragement and energy each of you left after the performance was.
