Director Cheon shared some of the most heartwarming reviews of the MIND Band's inaugural concert via Instagram. 🥹 “The Severance MIND Band's inaugural concert, held last Tuesday, was such a moving and successful event that it will remain etched in the hearts of the children, their families, and everyone who joined us on stage.” “The faces of the children on stage and their families watching them were literally filled with fulfillment and happiness, and the applause from the audience that filled the 1,600-plus seats was so powerful and heartwarming that it made my palms tingle. I can't express how much strength and courage each and every one of those applause gave to the children and to us. I will never forget the moments we exchanged greetings in the audience after the performance. An audience member from San Francisco, USA, tearfully embraced me and said, "It was an amazing performance," along with other words of encouragement and emotion. There were also a doctor and his wife from Thailand, and many others from Japan and other countries who traveled a long way to see this performance. It was a moment that truly made me realize how the children's music and hearts transcend national boundaries. I truly wanted to personally greet each and every one of you. I also wanted to convey how much encouragement and energy each of you left after the performance was. Fueled by your generosity and energy, the Severance MIND Band promises that this performance will not be a one-time event, but will continue as a regular year-end performance. We will continue to create miraculous moments where we can meet again at the end of the year, share our hearts through music, and where the children on stage and the audience become a source of mutual support . We will long remember this beginning, and we will take our next steps with the children with calm and determination. I sincerely thank everyone who joined us. ——————————————— Here are a few reviews of the MIND band's inaugural concert on social media. Most of them said, "I went to cheer them on, but I came back feeling comforted instead." You have no idea how much strength these feelings gave us. Thank you so much. —- [Author: Nu*] As a mother raising a child with a developmental disability, I was so envious of this concert. I wonder if my child will be like that someday.... You never know, but someday.... Nevertheless, I was so grateful that today, just for once, our children with disabilities were not in the back corner, but the center of the world. I couldn't hold back my tears seeing them proudly take the stage. [Author: Je*] I went to cheer them on, but I ended up being cheered on instead. I hope that today, made possible by the efforts and interest of many people, will remain in my heart for a long time. [Author: (sl*)] I sincerely thank all of you who helped me personally experience the meaning of communicating with others through music, bringing miracles that could not have been dreamed of publicly. Thanks to you, I received great comfort and happiness. I hope to see you often in the future. [Author Oh*] The pure heart and effort, the praise for it, and the unconditional support . The air was full of emotion throughout the performance. It was a beautiful night filled with great comfort, emotion, happiness, and relief . I thought I was the only one crying, but I guess we were all of the same mind. [Author Un*] I went to cheer on the kids, but it was a day when I learned more. They say that when three people walk together, there is always a teacher, and today, my teachers were the kids . I held back, but it was hard because of the flowing tears.” #MINDbandconcert #ShiningMINDs #MinYoongiTreatmentCenter #MINDband #SUGA #AgustD #슈가 #BTSSUGA
