🇨🇩🇺🇳🇪🇺Depuis 1999, la #MONUC, devenue @MONUSCO en 2010, promettait 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐬, 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐱 𝐞𝐭 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐃𝐂🇨🇩. Mais elle a abandonné les Tutsi congolais, proies des milices et du gouvernement. Pire, elle s’est alliée à eux contre le M23 laissant champ libre aux milices les plus meurtrières en RDC. It is rather by global MNCs from the countries who set up #MONUC/@MONUSCO and their #DRCon-go compradores in the Kinshasa regime, who are paid off not to make any waves against the looting.

2) The United Nations Peacekeeping Force #MONUSCO formerly #MONUC and has been deployed in the eastern #DRC for more than two decades to help bring peace and stability. Hundreds of Congolese Tutsi have been killed in their presence.

3)@MONUSCO is the most expensive peace operation in @UN history. Close to 13,000 of the original 20,000 troops are still deployed at a cost of about $1 billion a year. Established in 1999 as #MONUC, the mission was renamed #MONUSCO in 2010 with same mandate; to protect civilians.

(3/5) Malgré les pistes de solutions que semblait dégager l'accord, il resta pendant longtemps lettre morte car LD Kabila avait refusé de l'appliquer. Pour lui, l'accord conférait une sorte de légitimité à des rebelles manipulés et directement contrôlés par l'Ouganda et Rwanda.

Qui se souvient encore de l'#EUFOR_RDC? Les @UN et l'@EU_Commission nous ont envoyé 2500 soldats à la #MONUC pendant le processus électoral de 2006,tout ça pour protéger leur pantin! Pourquoi aujourd'hui ils ne font pas la même chose avec l'invasion rwandaise à l'Est de la #RDC?
