#MarginalUtility Value isn’t created just because someone worked hard or put lots of effort in. Value is created because people actually want the thing, and the value they place on it changes depending on how scarce it is, how urgent their need is, and what alternatives they have. $2 for water at coles - you’ll happily pay. $25 for water in a desert - you’ll happily pay. $25 water at Coles - no thanks, that’s too much. Get it?
