Let's rap... Days like today are frustrating. I know because I am feeling the frustration and you know me, #MathOverEmotion.😉But, the emotions are stronger on days like today. You may be feeling a different emotion, maybe it is fear or disappointment. Whatever it is, we have to ask ourselves where that feeling is truly coming from.
For me, if I dig deep, I am feeling frustration because of impatience. I am feeling frustration because I got impatient. I thought that the FED cut would be positive for markets, a "Santa Claus Rally" would ensue, and I would be able to take some profits on BTC, #ETH, and #SOL. Instead... now I have to wait for this "earlier than expected correction" to finish.
Markets have a way of reminding us to stay humble. When things are all going according to plan, the plan is about to deviate. So, I don't get to take my profits this week, but I will still probably be able to take profits, at the same levels I was expecting, in 1-4 weeks now. Again it is frustrating, but only because I am feeling impatient. If I remind myself to be patient, I won't be as frustrated.
So, I have to accept the fact that I have to wait. It was not desired, but it will be fine. Nothing in the grand scheme of things has changed. Remember, bullish structure is maintained, corrections are healthy, and I in no way shape or form think that was the cycle top. So, take a deep breath, sit on my hands, don't do anything irrational, and wait... patiently... 😏✊
