A Go Fund Me page set up by the father of “bike boy” Ryan Meuleman has raised more than $64,000 in just two months – including $500 donated by Victorian Liberal MP Moira Deeming.
The online fundraising account has set a $250,000 target and says the funds will be used to bankroll the Meuleman family’s campaign to lobby the police to prosecute Daniel and Catherine Andrews over the crash that left Mr Meuleman seriously injured.
If that fails, the funds could be used to pay for a rare private prosecution of the former premier and his wife over the accident on January 7, 2013.
