Something about newborn snuggles and soft snoring while nestled on my chest breaks open my heart and turns me into a pile of mush. These days (and nights) are long, but the years are vanishingly short. #mommusings
Always amazed when I see my kids do things I'm not good at,like art. Daughter started drawing this w/out tracing & not using a pencil! I don't think I could even trace this confidently. Hope she continues to tackle things w/ resolve & confidence & be her own person. #mommusings
The hardest part about the prep for a big kids birthday party is that you have to take care of your own kids while getting ready. There should be a service that swoops in and entertains them and then delivers them in time for the festivities. #mommusings
Can't believe my oldest turned 21 today. Oh where has the time gone? 😱I still remember him running around the house knocking things over in excitement over Blues Clues and finding a clue. 🤭Cleaning up toys, finding all the fun places he hid his dirty clothes 😂🤢😂#MomMusings
Has anyone watched the original Thomas the Tank Engine show recently? It’s a seriously toxic work environment. #mommusings

My almost 3 year old just asked me to leave his room while his Avenger action figures watch his dinosaurs fight. Don’t know if I should be concerned, or thankful? After all he is playing quietly...🤷🏻♀️ #mommusings
Going through my drawers this afternoon, “Why do I even own lingerie anymore!? Did I really once fit in that!?”😳🤷🏼♀️

Agree! This is how I want to raise my girls, opposite of how I was raised. I want them to know it's okay to be sad. Being sad doesn't make you weak. It takes strength to say you're not okay. #Momlife #dadlife #motherhood #mommusings #FindYourWords
