A full house at this morning's 61st session of Working Group B at #CTBTO's headquarters. Over the next two weeks, technical experts will discuss the importance of maintaining and upgrading the verification regime to ensure no nuclear test explosion can go undetected.
Austrian women & men have been proudly serving as UN peacekeepers since 1960.
Overall, more than 100.000 Austrians have been deployed in int. missions - reflecting a priority of Austrian foreign & security policy.

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Austria🇦🇹 with UNIFIL since 2011. Austrian peacekeepers oversee transportation coordination, personnel & equipment rotations, vehicle repairs, fuel supply assistance & fire protection for the HQ.
Currently, 200+ Austrians serve in south Lebanon.

Another positive multilateral development today: With the implementation of the #BlackSeaGrainInitiative the UN demonstrates its ability to mediate in times of war and help implement a humanitarian initiative - together with Turkiye.
