#UsherSyndrome affects 4-17 in 100,000, it causes deafness from birth, then ensuing sight loss in childhood/adolescence from #RetinitisPigmentosa #JeansForGenes: >10 including #MYO7A #USH2A. We’re developing a non-viral gene therapy as no treatment exists. @RetinaUK @Usherkidsuk
