We kicked off another virtual #NGICP course last week! The National Green Infrastructure Certification Program is a 35-hour program taught by @pennstatePGH in collaboration with the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority to educate local practitioners on #greeninfrastructure.
Earlier this week, our #NGICP class toured sites throughout #Sharpsburg & #Etna. Leaders there discussed how changes in flooding patterns no longer just affect those in the traditional #floodplain, leading to better partnerships and outreach to address stormwater issues.
The #CommunityAdaptationProgram team at NORA was pleased to join @amchalk62 last Saturday for green infrastructure installation in the 7th Ward as part of @WEForg #NGICP training with Dana Brown & Associates. Everyone can help #SlowTheFlow -- one property and one block at a time.
