@BrielleStarkPhD @talyarkoni This is a topic I'm deeply interested in. Last year at #NeuroHack19 I worked on developing some code for this (with @talyarkoni providing great feedback). Unfortunately it's still a ways a way from being done. There may be other groups out there with working examples though.
- Improved data access for GIFTI images was contributed by @HaoTingW713, which started as a @neurohackademy project. Fetching data arrays is now much more intuitive, e.g. gifti.agg_data("time series") will return a vertex x time point array. #NeuroHack19
Back in Greenwich with Ms Luna Spoon. I’ve had a nap, a walk in the park, listened to 2 chapters of #EloquentRage (AMAZING so far!) and *hopefully* stayed up late enough to stave off jet lag 🤞🏻🤞🏻
#NeuroHack19 was amazing. I’m excited to take ideas to @turinginst tomorrow 🌺🌻💪

@kirstie_j Thanks for live tweeting it @kirstie_j. Hopefully I will have a good deal more progress to report in the coming months! Also thanks to everyone at #Neurohack19 for such a wonderful experience!
Leaving #Neurohack19 with a very full brain and heart. Thanks to the incredible instructors and other participants it’s been an epic two weeks! ✈️🧠♥️

What an incredible whirlwind experience was this @neurohackademy 2019! Tons of learning, hacking, and networking in a very positive environment. Highly recommended to anyone interested in open science. Thanks to everyone who contributed to it 🙏🏻 #NeuroHack19 #sleeplessinseattle
Neuroscientists Discover the Brain Circuity for #persistence New discovery in mice may one day help those with #depression and #addiction - @PsychToday #Neurohack19 #brain https://t.co/AogBYxrfbF

These past two weeks at #Neurohack19 have been the best. & if that wasn't enough, I found out a few days ago that my NIH F31 Ruth L. Kirschstein Predoctoral Individual National Research Service Award was funded by the NIA. Beyond grateful for these opportunities to grow & learn.

PyCortex is not only beautiful in and of itself but also a really nice way of visualizing associations from @Neurosynth! #Neurohack19
How beautiful are these brains!! Linking up PyCortex with @neurosynth to see the terms associated with particular regions! #NeuroHack19

So fortunate that I could attend @neurohackademy. What a great two weeks we had! Look at #NeuroHack19 to find out about the crazy amount of cool stuff the teams were able to produce in a few days time. Also: https://t.co/bDHIBbECgs
#Neurohack19 has been an amazing experience, learned so much and met some truly great people. For the hacking, our group merged @pycortex w @neurosynth and an anatomical atlas to functionally map the brain. Check it out and the other great projects live-tweeted by @kirstie_j!

Truly awesome new tool. Will be using this for my own edification and to teach others about neuroanatomy and function!! #Neurohack19
Really excited to see more from MRIQCeption which makes MRIQC more user friendly by providing reference metrics based on others that have used the tool! #NeuroHack19 @neurohackademy
I’m really digging all the team names at #NeuroHack19 this year. Next up is #MRIQCeption 🥳🥳🥳

Most quality control metrics are no-reference metrics!! So it’s super hard to figure out whether your data is good or bad! Enter this project!

There was a bug in #NeuroHack19 team #NeuroMap’s data wrangling so @soffiafdz’s masters was missing from Mexico City 🥺🥺🥺 She submitted a PR and it’s all fixed now! Yaaaaay!

One of the biggest challenges that the team had was the computational environment - installing lots of packages together is SO FREAKING HARD! Well done for persevering! #NeuroHack19
This is a whole bunch of work linking up these different data sets! And with a couple of trip up places - colouring in tracts in matplotlib is harder than you’d think 🥺 #NeuroHack19

Last project presentation! Bringing us to the #NeuroHack19 boat trip is Sofya who worked on bridging TMS and DTI data!

We’ve had a LOT of party parrot here at #NeuroHack19 😂🤣😂 Thanks @choldgraf!!
The word cloud here shows which measures tend to be prioritised across models! Really fascinating!
