So, by ‘children’, you mean those who play & socialize in Neurotypical ways & those whose #NeurotypicalPrivilege is perpetuated by ill-conceived comments like this, thus further marginalizing #Autistic & otherwise #Neurodivergent children? #AutisticTruths #CheckYourBiases

This notion that kids are 'Holding in' from being themselves all day as if schools are some form of punishment is absurd. Have you ever sat in a pre-school? Learning is fun, playtime is fun and socialization is fun. Children are unapologetically themselves... Who are you fooling?

@therealninjabob @milton_damian Privilege is not knowing something is a barrier because you have never had to climb over it,dig under it,blast through it or make your own path because the trauma just isn’t worth it & what is on the other side is actually not the world you need. #NeurotypicalPrivilege

An excellent example of how societal ableism can impact #ActuallyAutistic and other disabled folx. (Also a powerful reminder for many to check their #NeurotypicalPrivilege when making blanket statements based on assumptions and pre-conceived notions)

@Penfoldlives I'm sorry you had to go through such a traumatic & discriminatory experience. Your🖕support worker was, most likely, only looking out for themselves and making sure they wouldn't get into trouble, especially if they knew the procedure. Inform media ASAP. #NeurotypicalPrivilege
