I noticed during the interview, you mentioned 2 billionaire shareholders of $FNMA & $FMCC, but please know that there are THOUSANDS of us "little people" who have been shareholders for almost the past 2 decades, praying the government would do the right thing by us.

We have an affordable housing crisis, needing 7 million new homes to be built as soon as possible. $200bn from Gov't warrants in Fannie/Freddie could unlock the build process.
Meanwhile, the main argument left-wing politicians like Senators Warren and Warner use to try and prevent a Fannie/Freddie exit from conservatorship is based on hedge funds getting a windfall.
They ignore that the companies are currently publicly traded and retail investors, govโt employees, and pretty much anyone can buy the stock and share in the wealth creation generated by finally putting these companies on their own feet outside conservatorship.
Itโs not about hedge funds, which just noticed an asymmetry and a wrong that needs to be corrected. Itโs about the spirit of American enterprise and our capitalist system- do the right thing as a net good for society and you will be rewarded!
There is no way Fannie/Freddie should be locked up under inefficient Govโt control when they could generate over $200bn for a sovereign wealth fund or a public/private partnership to build affordable housing! Enough with the Gov't grift at @FHFA and the ecosystem the bureaucrats built around the conservatorship. @Pulte
