Remember the fun days when we had Secret Santa? I think it was the last winter one that a very generous Santa sent me seeds and other gardening things. So here are the last of the basil and rocket seeds. They will be planted outside in a week or two. #NZSecretSanta
I’m not sure if any of my #NzSecretSanta’s follow me, but I’m still using all my gifts - including this beauty of a mug 🪴 🫖
I'm gutted there's no more #NZsecretsanta this year. I love getting involved and I've always loved the thought that goes into gifts and the timeline on opening days is totally the best.. also met some super cool peeps through it!
@Orthanc I was a Super Santa twice.
Loved it, knowing that "no one was left behind".
There was so much joy in NZ Twitter Secret Santa.

Even though I've forgotten my other 2 Santas and Santees, I still remember what I got and what I gave. #NZsecretsanta - one of the best & most joyful things on Twitter.
Thank you for all the joy, Secret Santas and organisers from years gone by. Sad to see it go but what good memories. #NZsecretsanta
@FoxyLustyGrover and @Larissacomments et al, this midwinter I'm going to post pics of some of my favourite #NZsecretsanta gifts, and maybe haunt the old threads looking at the great gifters in our midst who did such an excellent job sleuthing and making and gifting.
So sorry this is the case. Thank you Foxy Santa and elves for all you’ve done.
Thanks to the earlier organisers too. This is another step in the evolution of #nzsecretsanta
So pleased it topped the nztwitter poll before bowing out!
#thanks to all my Santas & Santees 🎅 😍
I have some very sad news. Due to changes made to Twitter by Elon Musk we've had to make the very hard choice that we can not run #SecretSantaNZ anymore. It's a heart breaking decision because we thought we'd future proofed with the App etc, but we will always have the memories.

@FoxyLustyGrover Thank you, and the team, for being a huge, sweeping light-beacon here. Cos that's what #NZSecretSanta was, not just for Aotearoa but for friends worldwide who needed to see pure, human good-for-good's sake still happening, right through these dark years. BIG BIG LOVE 😭💙💙
