We #HomeBuyers understand the scope for malpractice in a CC as a proof of completion of the project. That is the reason, we feel OC should be the document and not CC.
Builders obviously are batting for CC @IgrOdisha @OdishaRera #OREAT & the #AdvocateGeneral shares the same view

As per ODA Act the CC is a notice initiated (read issued) by the Architect of the builder so that an application for Occupancy Certificate can be submitted.
The @BDA_BBSR go for field verification on the basis of CC before issuing OC.
That is our understanding of the RERA provision.
But @OdishaRera as well as #OREAT think that the #CompletionCertificate issued by an architect is good enough and legally valid to be considered for completion of a project.
The matter will be deliberated more on the 7th Dec.
@bpradhanodisha Hello Mr Pradhan, the project which are started and rera registered in 2019 would then be considered completed once Occupancy Certificate is issued and not just the Completion Certificate which Architect may issue ? Is it a correct understanding.
In Odisha the CC is issued by the architect of the builder. Not like Bangalore (and many other states) where both CC & OC are issued by the Govt. Authority.
Thus in Odisha CC cannot be accepted as a legally valid document for completion. But #OREAT & @reraodisha think otherwise.
OC vs CC is a topic for discussion after #OREAT took a stand during hearings.
@reraodisha changed its stand after that.
#builders rushed to get #CompletionCertificates from architects.
Matter is now in the #OdishaHighCourt.

Please attach the orders of supreme court.
@OdishaRera needs to make the court proceedings process better.
It can learn from #OREAT or can follow the Odisha High Court on this.
Delay, adjournment, time petition etc. defeats the Preamble of the Act.
Effort should be made to adhere to 60 days time u/s 29

2) Pre-deposit is entire amount (read 100%) of Compensation, refund, Interest as ordered by ORERA,
