Worth a Read. The chaos that ensued after Australia’s digital health records program went from opt-in to opt-out: https://t.co/4VRDEr1YZj via @slate #auspol #optoutMHR

@RedfernMichelle @dodona777 went for an X-ray recently and found they were using a work phone number from 16 years ago, not as serious as yours, but same period, and indicates possibly widespread false/dated information .. does not engender any confidence in centralised medical databases #optoutMHR #auspol
The risk to those who are at the mercy of controlling spouses or vindictive ex partners is unacceptable.

Progressives fall for conservative spin every fvcking time.
If Greg Hunt had “backed down” on #MyHealthRecord why are we still opting out instead of opting in????
#OptOutMHR
@CatherineKingMP #optoutMHR period should be indefinite, so citizens can judge for themselves commercial exploitation and govt snooping .. #ALP must not roll over on the legislative protections as it has on other "security" legislation .. and stand by for taxpayer-funded private sector propaganda
Government will also amend #MyHealthRecord legislation to ensure if someone wishes to cancel their record they will be able to do so permanently, with their record deleted from the system.
#OptOutMHR #optout
This is disgusting propaganda to assist a broken system that should have been opt in over opt out from the start. And I say that as someone who has watched loved ones die and had a chronic illness #OptOutMHR
#MyHealthRecord sent me 4 different letters in 4 different envelopes to tell me I had cancelled my family's health records. Why they wasted all that paper is beyond me. Emailing me would have been suffice, or sending it all on one letter. What a waste! #AUSPOL #OptOutMHR
.@Asher_Wolf I haven't been on much lately & might've missed discussion of this - do you know if there's anyone handling #MyHealthRecord #OptOutMHR issues that are specific to #Indigenous communities?
@Jordonsteele Senator
What about those of us who have had a #MyHealthRecord created without request or permission? Surely their must be a way to have these records expunged? #OptOut #OptOutMHR
@BernardKeane @GregHuntMP #OptOutMHR 6 million people haven't complained about it. 6 million people didn't realise their health records were online!
To have a complaint about a data breach, you have to KNOW your data was breached, @TurnbullMalcolm! #abc730 #OptOutMHR
@Asher_Wolf good grief .. and this is the sort of subhuman redneck that will probably have access to our personal medical data on #MyHeathRecord #optoutMHR #auspol
@joshgnosis I just finally officially opted out after seeing that #OptOut #OptOutMHR #MyHealthRecord
Govt must suspend the My Health Record reform until the govt can restore the confidence and trust of the public. Our medical records held by doctors should not end up in the hands of law enforcement or any third party.

So can’t #OptOutMHR because they’ve already set it up. Can’t cancel it without registering with #myGov and accepting their dodgy privacy policy which is the reason I want to opt out in the 1st place.
Welcome to 1984 in #auspol
