P. Venu's 12th death anniversary today. Udyogastha was his directorial debut. Released during Vishu times (on 14-04-1967), this is regarded as the first ever multi-starrer movie made in Mollywood. And he was forever referred as Udyogastha Venu thereafter. #PVenu #OldReels #Udyogastha #CIDNazir #TaxiCar (Bonus. You are getting a more or less nonsensical thread on two of his earlier, yet truly interesting films also this time)..🤭

P. Venu was the screenwriter, producer and director for both the films. Must say he had been very much successful in making them an interesting watch. Fast paced and with all right ingredients needed to be in such a potboiler.
