One of the most critical achievement of #Cop26 was the finalisation of #Article6 #ParisRuleBook which allows countries to trade emission reductions & removals with one another through bilateral or multilateral agreements.
We should ask what are the opportunities for #Zimbabwe?

“Among the important achievements of #COP26 are the #GlasgowClimatePact and the #ParisRulebook. Another important outcome is the full recognition of the central role that women play in #ClimateAction.”
The #ParisRulebook, the guidelines for how the #ParisAgreement is implemented, was also finalised, including agreement on a transparency process which will hold countries to account as they deliver on their targets & on #CarbonTrading.
The #GlasgowClimatePact has been agreed upon and the #ParisRulebook can finally be fully implemented. We have moved forward but we need to be even faster to ensure a livable future. One is clear: We must #ActNow.

Important to remember, the endgame is not the COP26 outcome document and a completed #Parisrulebook. The endgame is to keep warming to 1.5 °C.
