After my visit to the Fleet Air Arm Museum at RNAS Yeovilton yesterday, I tracked down these three Type 24 #pillboxes around a road junction near the museum entrance. #WW2
A Type 22 pillbox on the seafront at Milford-on-Sea at the west end of the Solent, across from the Needles. The embrasures are blocked up and the entrance is not visible, but walkways have been built round it. Would benefit from a notice explaining what it is. #WW2 #pillboxes

Tracked down an L-shaped section post near the beach in Bacton, N Norfolk. You can only see one half of the L from the lane and the entrance round the back is completely overgrown. The pic through the embrasure gives some feeling of the other half. #WW2 #defences #pillboxes
Had a look at these two #WW1 pillboxes today which are located by the Bacton/North Walsham Road to the west of the North Walsham and Dilham Canal. Not seen WW1 #pillboxes before so great to track them down. #Norfolk #defences
