@miriam_riviera When you constantly argue that the #PlacardClass can do things that the laws say that they cannot do, you are pro-corruption.
We recognize that you often insist that they're *somehow* avtually allowed to do it - contrary to all evidence - but #FactsMatter.
Some of the biggest fire hydrant offenders in NYC are the people that we pay for fire safety.

She went from 18 violations in 2024 to just 5 in 2025.
The practice seems to be to tickets these #PlacardClass regulars once every 1-2 months to keep up appearances. And then skip over them the rest of the time.
This @NYCParks placard is clearly labeled across the top "NOT VALID ON NEW YORK CITY STREETS."
And there is no placard on Earth that is ever valid in a No Stopping zone.
But @NYPDTransport and @NYPD6Pct extend #PlacardCorruption privileges to the rest of the #PlacardClass.
It's illegal and potentially dangerous to double park.
But the law, any concern about public safety, all goes out the window whenever the #PlacardClass wants a free, easy spot to park.

Did they get more aggressive with drivers that don't have #PlacardClass connections while continuing to skip over the #PlacardPerps? Because that's what we're still seeing.
Using an EMS #FakePlacard to dangerously and illegally block the fire hydrant before a major snowfall begins.
The #PlacardCorruption is dangerous, but the #PlacardClass really doesn't care who gets hurt.
These #PlacardPerps are always dangerously blocking the section of the bicycle lane that is shared with the @NYCTBus stop.

@JustinBrannan When we all see the #PlacardClass taking our money and then turning around and openly breaking the laws that everyone else has to follow, making our streets more disorderly and unsafe, there sure is a trust problem.

We are at WABC for a new watchdog group that plans to monitor the policies and goings-on of @ZohranKMamdani once he takes office. What that entails is still unclear.
While there are many Mamdani foes at the table, Kathy Wylde had not been one of them during the campaign
