Agree but things are getting out of hand. As Ploegh said, reviews should have an (approximate) budget provided by the reviewer & the editor should take this into account when asking for the revision. Otherwise let's just move to #PlanU and #Preprints for all, which is the trend.
It is easy to say "go to another journal" and "down with glam journals". However:
1. This phenomenon is not specific to glam journals.
2. *We* are the ones demanding all this stuff. Just stop asking!
