Many were wondering if #PresPoll2019 would be like #PresPoll2015, or #PresPoll2005, or even #PresPoll2010. Purely on final vote percentages, it looks most like #PresPoll1999. Complete with a token "other party" vote. #PresPollSL2019 #lka #SriLanka

In #PresPoll2015, the UPFA got 47.58% of the vote. In #PresPoll2019, the "swing" is hovering around 2.2% for the SLPP. Close to what they need to hit 50%. #PresPoll2019 #PresPollSL2019 #lka #SriLanka

#PSA The "Swing" statististic compares the #PresPoll2019 result to #PresPoll2015. E.g. As of 21 results, the SLPP improved its vote share by +10% in the Galle Polling Division, and +7.2% Nationwide. #PresPollSL #lka #SriLanka

#Postal votes matter more to some districts. Less to others. For #PresPoll2015, Colombo had the smallest portion (1.9%); Anuradhapura (8.2%) the largest. #PresPoll2019 #PressPollSL #lka
