@blu_noz_pitbull EVERYBODY has to live with the risk of a loved one being killed for the simple “mistake” of using a controlled substance. The deaths are artificially created by an agency whose purported purpose is to protect us from the evils of drug use. @DEAHQ please stop #ProtectingUsToDeath

Despite today's vote, ALS patients will continue to take Tudca & phenylbutirate to slow the progression of their disease. The only ones to benefit from a vote against AMX0035 are insurance companies. Patient reported outcomes matter. #protectingustodeath https://t.co/eFiDc7fOVN

Allow patients to determine the risk we are willing to take. We are adults, and dying a terrible death. I will take being in pain or sick if it means more time with my kids, @VPResearch_ALS #protectingustodeath

So despite the high risk tolerance, the concern is more about the potential of giving someone a percentage of extra time through slowing progression, but at the expense of chronically being treated by something that could make a person very sick, or in a lot of pain etc. (7/10)

and suggesting, despite evidence to the contrary, that Nurown was not safe. My opportunity to get this potentially life saving treatment disappeared. If Nurown doesn't help me, and only has 1% chance of helping me, how exactly is it more of a risk than ALS? #ProtectingUsToDeath

@WSJopinion ALS has taken 5 of my family members. It’s a brutal way to die, and is 100% lethal. You have a 1 in 300 chance of getting it. Those odds stink. Any withholding of a therapy, even experimental, from an ALS patient is downright evil.#DyingWaiting #DrugsInBodies #ProtectingUsToDeath
