Governor Whitmer’s nursing home policy of putting COVID-infected patients into nursing homes had deadly consequences. There is also no recourse, due to protections provided to nursing homes, for the families of these victims to seek financial compensation for their loss. Michigan will never forget what happened to our seniors, but more importantly, we can’t let Governor Whitmer forget. Her egregious decisions cost people their loved ones, and in many cases, no chance to even say goodbye.
