SUCCESSI TATTICI E PROBLEMI STRATEGICI (POLITICI)
La #controffensiva #ucraina ha visto accelerare il ritmo delle operazioni nel corso degli ultimi giorni. In queste ore le #truppe #AFU avanzano su #Robotyne e #Pyatykhatky, a ridosso del primo strato di trincee della Linea #Surovikin difesa dai #russi e che ha, in quel settore, il proprio epicentro a #Tokmak.
Si tratta di successi tattici importanti ma per #intelligence #Usa #Kyiv non riuscirà a raggiungere il proprio obiettivo strategico: la conquista di #Melitopol ed il raggiungimento del “corridoio di #Crimea”.
I successi finora conseguiti in questa #offensiva estiva, nata come grande operazione di #guerra manovrata degli #ucraini, sono stati pochi ed hanno indotto le AFU a cambiare approccio, optando per la riduzione delle unità impegnate sul campo, la “fanterizzazione” delle battaglie ed un ampio utilizzo dell’#artiglieria.
In altre parole, l’Ucraina ha scelto la #strategia di logoramento contro la #Russia, nemico dimostratosi ben più organizzato di quel che dalle analisi iniziali era apparso.
E la #Materialschlacht non porta, è una sua caratteristica, risultati strategici tangibili in tempi rapidi ma punta a distruggere la #logistica del nemico prima di annientarlo sul campo.
Anzi, non è detto che questo avvenga ed è probabile che la linea del fronte resti invariata fino al momento ritenuto idoneo per la clausewitziana “decisione”.
La discrepanza tra aspettative di molti Paesi della #Nato (non ultimi gli Stati Uniti, con #Biden che ha collegato alla riuscita della controffensiva ucraina parte della sua campagna elettorale) e necessità #ucraine - ben sintetizzate sia da #Zelensky che da #Zaluzhny - emerge tutta dai diversi ritmi, reali e voluti, delle operazioni militari.
L’offensiva ucraina è iniziata in anticipo rispetto alla preparazione ottimale richiesta alle AFU, anche in termini di rifornimenti, prima di tutto per pressioni politiche.
Ed a dettare il ritmo delle operazioni, nonostante i militari di Kyiv tentino di imporre la propria più realistica visione, è ancora la necessità politica ucraina di doversi garantire a suon di successi altisonanti il sostegno occidentale.
Che il principale sforzo offensivo ucraino, raggiunta la prima vera linea difensiva nemica, debba avvenire ora è chiaro.
La domanda è se le forze ucraine siano in grado di attaccare in massa e rompere le difese russe, incuneandosi nei punti deboli della Linea Surovikin e causando il crollo settoriale che potrebbe indurre il nemico alla ritirata sulla seconda linea.
Ipotesi apparentemente lontana dal realizzarsi, viste le capacità dell’#Esercito di #Mosca di condurre operazioni difensive “mobili”, lontane dal precedente immobilismo ed attendismo che ne avevano condizionato le tattiche nella prima fase del conflitto, almeno fino alla vittoriosa offensiva ucraina su #Kharkiv e #Kherson.
Che gli ucraini non abbiano trovato ancora lo #Schwerpunkt in questa fase operativa è assodato. Che a #Washington - così come a #Londra, #Parigi, #Berlino, #Roma, #Varsavia e via dicendo - questo possa essere accettato è tutto da dimostrare.
