Here's what it does: TERM LIMITS No more career politicians. The CAPT Act proposes a constitutional amendment capping service at 3 terms in the House and 2 terms in the Senate - with no grandfather clause. If it's good enough for the President, it's good enough for Congress. LOBBYING REFORM A 5-year post-service lobbying ban for Members of Congress. A lifetime ban on lobbying any issue they directly voted on. And a 10-year ban on representing foreign governments. The revolving door stops here. STOCK BAN Members of Congress and their staff shall not buy or sell individual stocks while in office - period. Violations carry criminal penalties up to 5 years in prison. No more trading on information the American people don't have. BUDGET ACCOUNTABILITY No budget, no paycheck. Members of Congress will have their salaries suspended and permanently forfeited during any government shutdown. Miss the budget deadline? Take a 10% pay cut - and it compounds every year they fail. ACCOUNTABILITY & TRANSPARENCY Members must be physically present a minimum of 200 days per year. Miss too many votes without a verified excuse - lose your salary. All attendance records, lobbying contacts, and financial disclosures published online for every American to see. Whistleblowers who report corruption ARE protected by law. The American people deserve a Congress that shows up, plays by the rules, and puts this country first. @GreenDvr very close. The @DOJBJA was created in or around the 1986 CSA reform to combat the illegal drug crack epidemic. It was stagnant until the Prince of Pork #RepHalRogers fed into the great prescription opioid lie, he actually called it an “OxyContin Epidemic”. The PDMP official name is called the Hal Rogers Prescription Drug Monitoring Program. He gave the green light to siphoned multi-millions from the @DOJBJA to ramp up the Civil Rights Violating PDMP program specifically to target people who have progressive incurable bodily afflictions. The @DOJBJA funds were not meant to weaponize a ruthless federal law enforcement agency to target the most disenfranchised law-abiding citizens for the crime of being trapped in a deteriorating body but they did it without resistance. We seem to be the only disenfranchise population that discrimination is not only permitted but encouraged from both both sides of the aisle. When I watch and listen PROP and Cohorts giddy congratulating themselves for committing despicable acts of cruelty again innocent people born with bad genes or had bad luck I’m reminded of a quote from one of my favorite books. We need to understand they view us as rodents and have convinced the rest of society to view us the same way.
