To be honest about the issue that we have with NKY's healthcare monopoly. Northern Kentuckians are crossing the river into Cincinnati for their healthcare needs because they get higher quality care. I personally go to Christ Hospital for exactly that reason. #RepealCON
Well I reckon this explains why the Certificate of Need (CON) poll went from 48.81% “repeal it” to 52.62% “keep it” in the span of just a few hours on Wednesday, even after “repeal it” had held a solid lead from the time the poll launched.
I’m not saying these folks shouldn’t vote how their employer tells them to, but I do think that the Kentuckians who are tired of having to travel to Ohio for health care options deserve to know that this dominant health care system is trying hard to influence the outcome of the poll.

I'm glad this issue is being discussed in the Governor's race. My hope is that they study the data and see that CON hurts rural areas more than urban, but that CON is bad for the patient in general if you want health care options.
